She truly believes when your home is welcoming, warm and functions for your family and lifestyle, life becomes more enjoyable. With her love for design, she will curate a space that you and your family will be able to thrive in. Her goal is to take the stress, guesswork, and time out of shopping, decorating and organizing your new or existing home. She will focus on your needs, wants, and current issues and then strive to create the perfect space that your family can delight in for years to come.
April has loved design and decorating ever since she was in Elementary School.  She was constantly changing her childhood bedroom décor as the design styles and colors changed throughout the years. Her love for decorating continued into her college apartments and now into her forever home in Gonzales, LA. She thoroughly enjoys shopping and decorating for each new season and holidays during the year. Her family and friends always ask her for decorating and design advice in which she enthusiastically says, yes!  She is also an extremely detailed and organized person who has always believed everything should have a designated space in order for your life to flow effortlessly. She is the wife of Patrick Gomez and the mother of two sons, Brady and Ben. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Southeastern Louisiana University. She taught Middle School Reading and English and was also an Assistant Principal. She has decided to pursue her passion and love for design by opening her own interior design business.
